A Used Toyota Aygo – Good Driving Experience, Low Cost

on

If you have recently passed your driving test then there is a strong likelihood that you are going to be very eager to buy yourself a car and get out on the road as quick as humanly possible. This scenario is a very common one and a rite of passage for many young people all around the world. However, the next hurdle of actually buying yourself a car can be a rather calamitous occasion that can backfire hugely if you are in possession of impetuous or an over-eager personality. It is important to take a deep breath and take all the factors into consideration before handing over your hard-earned money.

Firstly is power. Most young drivers crave this as though it was some addictive drug, but it is important to remember that the chances are that you learned to drive in a car with a small engine. It is fine to want to graduate beyond a 1.0-1.2 litre engine, but please bear in mind that a 5.0 litre V8 is probably a bit too much to cope with at this stage.

Secondly and very importantly there is cost. As scary as it sounds, the vast majority of crashes on the British road network involve young and inexperienced drivers. Obviously, the nobody wants to get injured or worse on the roads, but whilst you are learning your driving craft, you are likely to pick up a few bumps and scratches along the way. So don’t spend vast amounts of cash on your very first car.

I personally recommend a car like a Used Toyota Aygo for a good driving experience balanced with low cost. It is also very easy and relatively cheap to repair if you do get involved in a minor crash.
