Nissan GT-R – A Perfect Sports Car

The Nissan GT-R, first released in Japan, is a sports car that first debuted at the Tokyo motor show in 2007. After the successful launch, it moved to the other markets in 2008.

Though not launched in India, Nissan GT-R was first unveiled to the Indian car enthusiasts when it was gifted to the Indian racing star Narain Karthikeyan. The expected price of this luxurious car is between Rs. 69 lakh and 72 lakh.

Nissan GT-R is offered in two variants, Nissan GT-R and Nissan GT-R premium, and is considered to be a strong rival against brands like Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volvo and Audi.

The average fuel consumption of GT-R is about 10.23 kmpl and the average CO2 output is 288.1 g/km. The fuel tank capacity of the car is 74 litres. The mileage may differ and is believed to be in the range of 10-15 kmpl depending on the driving conditions. The wheels are 20 inch super light weight forged alloy wheels and all season run flat tyres. The alloy wheels have near black metallic finishes.
The robust and powerful engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 which generates 545 hp and 463 Nm of torque which is sufficient to propel the car from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 s

The car is a four seater with enough boot space to enjoy a comfortable drive. The sturdy chassis frame means that even at high speeds, the car will give a stable drive. The Brembo braking system fit on all tyres give the excellent braking when required. Other features include an adjustable air suspension and safety measures like EBD, ABS, ESP, vehicle security alarm system, fog lamps and traction control are included.

The interiors of the car include a tilt steering with rack and reach adjustment, central locking with parking sensors, CD player with six speakers, comfortable leather seats and air bags. The wide dashboard has got unmatchable beauty. The steering has audio control which helps the driver to enjoy music with much ease.

GT-R’s advanced all-wheel drive does not budge in slippery conditions. To achieve optimal front-to-rear weight distribution, the Nissan GT-R’s clutches, transmission and transfer case are all mounted in the rear of the chassis, creating the world’s first independent rear transaxle for an all-wheel drive vehicle.

The exterior of the car is quite sporty. The most impressive feature is the company’s logo right in centre of the grill. The front grill is fabricated with dual tone color. Its aerodynamic design ia eye-catching. The car is given a new body colored bumper with full LED headlamps.

This trendy and perfect sports car is a much awaited car in Indian markets.
