Nissan Micra Reviews

on

Nissan Micra is one of those rare cars for the youth. The Nissan Micra is a car that has everything with a style statement attached to it. Despite being the entry level car, the car looks quite premium and the materials used are all impressively up market.

This is the cheapest Micra, but it is not cheap in terms of what exactly a Micra offers. The car is easy to drive, has low running costs and has a decent amount of space inside. The steering is light as a feather for parking and the short length with a tight turning circle make it marvelous in town. The seats seem flat but do give reasonable support in corners and that’s good because it grips and grips when pushed very hard. However it is not as generous as compared to the Honda Jazz.
Its ride is smooth and handling is fine at low speed. There is quite a lot of roll on corners but it’s great for city and urban driving. The Micra’s petrol engines rev sweetly, but the cabin isn’t quiet, especially on diesel models. The 5-speed manual gearbox is easy to use and offers short and seamless changes.

The car is not a power horse but surely has the meat to run around the city with zipping speed. The suspension does tend to squeak a bit under pressure at times so you will have to take care while pushing your car to the limits. The Nissan Micra is a good car to gift to your better half because of the soft looks with a premium feel, low running costs and easy handling.

It is one of those rare cars that does not mind staying away from the competition and is quiet happy with it offers. The Nissan Micra does not try to be like every other car in the market and this probably gives it a distinct advantage over the others. Most cars on the other hand try to outdo each other and in the process they end up losing their own selves. In that context the Nissan Micra is a known devil and you exactly get what you expected when you brought this car. Considering that some of us do not want to go from showroom to showroom to buy a new car every year, the Nissan badge means the Micra is not at all cheap in terms of the build quality. The car is not only positioned as a premium hatchback in the market but it also truly deserves it.

The Nissan Micra had in fact started off the rage of premium small cars in the Indian market and today small cars have no longer worry about being cheap. Small cars can also dream to be the next big thing on the roads. All thanks to the Nissan Micra.

The Nissan Micra Safety features include four airbags, anti-lock brakes and EBD (electronic brake distribution) which adjusts the braking performance between the front and rear brakes. In the EuroNCAP crash test programme, the Micra was awarded four stars.
