Rover’s 2007 Defender, Intact yet Refined

Land Rover recently released the official information of its most recent Defender, whose roots date back to 1948. Defender is an iconic shaped vehicle which is famous for its extraordinary off-road performance. Off-road driving is said to be 100% fir for Land Rover Defender. Nonetheless, said vehicle was also improved to cater to both the on-road and off-road performance.

Land Rover Defender 2007 offers a new 2.4-litre diesel engine from Ford to increase torque at the same time improve the driveability. Its 6-speed gearbox offers a reduced first gear ratio for better off-road maneuvering. On one hand, the sixth gear is also improved for cruising sophistication. Defender’s interior was also given a fresh fascia. New seats also improve comfort of both the driver and the passengers.

Defender also gets the new integrated dashboard and an improved heating and aircon system. These modifications are aimed at improving the mighty off-road Defender at the same time to add a bit more refinement.
