The Bentley Continental GT Speed With COR Wheels and Carbon Fiber

on

The biggest and best names in the luxury and high end world of automobiles includes the likes of Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Bentley. While some of these names may focus on speed or luxury, the folks at Bentley have been able to combine the two with the Bentley Continental GT coupe that is a high class and high powered luxury car that loves triple digit speeds. It has a new, twin turbocharged V-8 engine that isn’t afraid to lay down some power on its forged wheels and speed off into the distance in style and luxury. One American based aftermarket tuning company wanted to get a bit more out of its super luxury sports car so they came up with a full upgrade program. The new program for the British car includes new COR wheels made from forged aluminum alloy, special carbon fiber body work for better aerodynamic properties, and more to make driving a thrill.

The American based aftermarket tuning company came up with a full upgrade plan for the Bentley Continental GT model that included using a wide range of in house and custom designed carbon fiber components that were made using Computer Aided Design programs for an OEM quality fitment. These components were also tested thoroughly in a wind tunnel to ensure maximum downforce and cooling could be achieved with a low amount of drag, especially when coupled with the new set of forged COR wheels.

The new aerodynamic kit for the Bentley Continental can be left as bare carbon fiber or painted to match the color of the super luxury coupe. The kit includes four pieces not including the new lightweight COR wheels. The front fascia gains a new bumper fascia that includes integrated air intakes and a lip spoiler to reduce lift at the front axle. Along each side of the Bentley Continental GT coupe is a set of side skirts that help to reduce drag as air moves towards the rear at high speeds. The rear benefits from a new bumper with an integrated diffuser and air outlets to cool the brakes while a larger carbon fiber spoiler sits atop the trunk lid to generate downforce for the rear axle at high speeds.

After the carbon fiber body kit was installed on the Bentley Continental GT coupe, the team then turned their attention to the rim and tire fitment. Here, they opted to install a new set of COR wheels in a mesh design with polished aluminum finish in a 9.0 x 21 front and 11.0 x 21 rear setup with high performance Michelin Pilot Sport tires for maximum grip.
